swollen eye old

My son is 2 years old and was at his grandma's this weekend, when he came home under his eye was swollen but it looked like he was tired and was getting bags under his eye. this morning the swelling increased but there is no bruising, it is just pinkish red. should i take him to the emergency room or wait to go to his doctor tomorrow?
