I have been diagnosed with amenorrhea. i am 32 years old, not wanting to children as of now. I am very active, working out everyday and I eat healthy. I have worked very hard to get my body in the shape it is. My doctor wants me to get on the pill so that I will have normal menstrual cycles to protect my bones. I have been off of the pill for three years now and I really do not want to get back on it, but I want to do what is best for my body. My main concern with getting on the pill is weight gain. My question is is there any alternative other than the pill and what exactley is the problem for not having a menstrual cylcle?
