I get a pain in my stomach frequently. It feels like getting punched, but not that acute. It's been bothering about 3 weeks now. It comes and goes. My sister=in-law said something about my galbladder. HELP!

Here is some information on gall bladder symptoms:
http://www.netdoctor.co.uk/diseases/facts/gallbladderdisease.htm

Read the above and see if it resembles your symptoms. I would then make an appointment with the doctor to be examined and tested.

If this doesn't sound like your symptoms, please write back with more specifics and I will do more research.

Reply to Kerry's Post: It doesn't seem to be my gallbladder, cause the pain is not on my right side it's in the middle of my stomach. Sometimes it stays for hours, other times in not that long. It's not a hunger pain. Is ther any medicine like pepto bismo, pain killer.Anything? HELP

You may have what's called GERD.

See more here:
http://digestive.niddk.nih.gov/ddiseases/pubs/gerd/

If you think this is it, you can try over the counter pepcid AC to see if it helps.

If it does, you may want to make a doctor appt. to have ulcer and any stomach infections ruled out.

There is one infection called h.pylori that might cause an ulcer and your symptoms.
read more about H.pylori here:
http://digestive.niddk.nih.gov/ddiseases/pubs/hpylori/

Hope that helps!
