I have a deep purple bruise about the size of a quarter ...

I have a deep purple bruise about the size of a quarter under my left arm midway between my elbow and armpit. There is a small knot inside the bruise about the size of a bb. It does not hurt and I did not strike it on anything. Any reason to be concerned?
