my mother just got out of the hospital she had to have ...

my mother just got out of the hospital she had to have three more stents put in, but she is still having diffuculty breath and she is really tired and is hot. should she be feeling this way

HI,

If she is short of breath now, and hot. Check her temperature. Make sure she doesn't have a fever, which is a sign of infection.

NO, it is not normal unless she already had problems with breathing before she went in. She really should not be having them now. I would call her Doctor, page him to call you back and tell him what is going on now. The doctor should have an answering service that will reach him for you. He might want you to bring her back to the ER.

she really doesn't want to call him. and she did have shortness of breath before she went to the hospital
