I am having chronic pain in the rib area on right side of my back. Tried heating pad, pain patches nothing helping

Do you still have your gall bladder? If so, I'd be willing to bet that might be your culprit.

I was having severe vomiting of bile 2-3 months ago. MD put me on Previcid OTC and the vomiting is under control. Had very sensitive area under front right rib cage . Yes i do have my gallbladder. Can the pain move to the back. It is crippling somedays

Yup, Gall Stone pain sure can move to the back. I would give the doctor a call. They will do an ultrasound to rule it out.
