My daughter has had functional constipation ...

My daughter has had functional constipation for almost her whole life. She is 5 and a half. We have tried diet, homeopathic practices, and medicine, specifically Myralex. Anyway, nothing has worked. Have you heard of any new treatments, medicinally? What about massage therapy?
