diverticulosis

I was recently diagnosed with diverticulosis. Are there any foods I should avoid? I am being treated with Levaquin 500 mg. My abodomen is still swollen, sore and painful after 2 days and I have pain on my right side. When will I start to feel better? I have been taking Fibercon fr over 2 years. Please help!
