a little over 6 months ago i was told by my doctor that i had hpv. when it was expained to me i was told that it wasn't an std that basically it was a type of virus that could lead to cancer and was sent to a specialist for it. anyways recently i have come across some articals on hpv and the articals talk about it being a std and my question is was the doctor wrong when she told me that it wasnt an std or was she right and the hpv that i have been reading about and what i actually have are 2 different things.
