My son is taking Ritalin LA capsule and it is 10mg and now the doctor is having him to take 2 a day which increase to 20mg. My question is I took the 2 capsule and open them open and put it into one capsule--is that ok to do???

no! ritalin la is a time release capsule and so you can't open the capsule- he will get too much medicine all at one time. you should never combine capsules because it will affect how the medicine gets into the bloodstream
