what does it mean when you have blood in your seimen

my girlfriend and i had sex and when she came out of the bathroom after cleaning up she asked me if i had noticed any blood when i pee I told her no but i had been hurting every now and then when i pee but i havent noticed anything ..I would like to know for both of our sake...
I didnt know it was going to cost anything for asking a question ..I would have to send it in the mail to you ..I have no credit card
