I am a 30 year old male. I have broken my 1st metatarsal on the right foot about in the middle of the bone.It was a clean brake. The cast was on for two weeks.The doctor told me two start walking with a boot before he even looked at the x-ray.The x-ray tech told me it takes 6 weeks for a bone to heal.Its been 3 weeks now from the time it happend. Still have not put any weight on it.Realy dont no what to do.

The boot your doctor gave you will suffice to keep the bone aligned by keeping you from toe-ing off when you walk. It would be ok to bear weight on the foot as long as you are using the wooden bottomed boot - don't walk around without it because you will be mobilizing the area you want to keep still. As long as you are in a hard soled boot you should do fine.
