My husband has a lot of swelling on his left side ...

My husband has a lot of swelling on his left side on and around his breast. (near his heart) He has now and has been having chest pain for nearly a month now. He has NOT seen a doctor yet. The swelling is hard and painful. It is really scaring me. What could it be??? Help please. Thanks. watson1978@hotmail.com Sarah S. Watson
