Hello; My name is Customer (name blocked for privacy). I was in A very bad tractor and trailor wreck on 10/22/03. I was asleep in my truck,when another truck from behind.It almost took my sleeper off,that I was sleeping in. Now I have trouble sleeping,standing and walking due to the pain. And sometimes my left arm and leg go numb. I live in A very small coal mining town. So there are not very many doctors that will treat me,without insurance of some kind. I sincerly hope you can help. The numbness you are talking about is generally due to pinched or entrapped nerve. Without some tests, as I'm sure you know would be hard to pin point your exact trouble. I don't know if you are having pain etc that is preventing you from sleeping, standing that is related or separate from the pinched nerve. Can you not get state aid or have the party that is responsible their insurance to pay for these follow ups? Maybe you could also save up some just enough to get a doctor appt and then you can be seen. In the mean time Ibuprofen is good for inflammation and discomfort, moist heat as well or you can alternate between moist heat and ice pack (would have to see which feels better)
