what would happen if you did a hsg test and you were one month pregnant. would the doctors be able to see anything in the x-ray. would the baby survive

 Hi Customer (name blocked for privacy),

Having an x-ray during early pregnancy puts the baby at severe risk. It may survive, but could have malformations. An ultrasound on the other hand, is safe for both of you and will allow you to see the baby from the early stages all the way to the time of birth.

It would be very helpful if you could explain why you want to know if a doctor can tell if you are pregnant from an HSG test.  Could you please answer these questions:

Are you pregnant?  If yes, do you know for sure?  If yes, how have you confirmed your pregnancy?  And how far along are you?

Have you already had the hsg test?  If so, how far along were you in your pregnancy when you had the test?

If you are pregnant, and you had this test while you were pregnant, what, exactly, are your questions and concerns?

Please add any additional information which will help clarify exactly what you need to know, and why.

i am now 7 months pregnant, but i did a hsg in january and it seems i got pregnant the same month i just wanted to know if i could be pregnant before that, if the doctors could have missed that i was pregnant at the time when i did the hsg, are ultrasounds normally correct, because i did a ultrasound at five months and they gave me the same delivery date as the doctor.
