Last year I started having irregular periods. The doctor did an ultra sound and found fibroids (I think) on the uterus and uterine wall. She removed the one on the wall. The periods still started on time, but would last longer than 7 days. Mostly a watery, bloody discharge that would last 1 - 2 weeks then go away. We tried a low estrogen birth control pill, but I bled more during the month. So, I quit taking them. Last month the watery/bloody discharge continued all month,. When having sexual relations with my boyfriend, there is now an embarassing odor. Now that I've started by cycle again, I've noticed a different type of odor -- stronger, and maybe an iodine or blood smell??. Is this caused by the continjuous bleeding?   I have an appt scheduled with my doctor, but it's really embarassing when I'm with my boyfriend! Help!
