My Mother suffers with nausea every morning....her doctor says that it is caused by her hiatal hernia yet I have many friends who have the same diagnosis and never experience nausea. She has cut caffiene from her diet and as much dairy products as possible. Most days after taking an over the counter medication, it dissipates...other days it continues. Is this a symptom of a hiatal hernia?

I don't know what type of doctors she has seen. But a Gastroenterologist would be best to determine what is going on. Also, has she had her sugar checked etc? You may want to have her put some crackers next to her bed and eat them before she even get out of bed, with resting about 15 min after to see if this helps at all.

Hope this helps, If you need anything else please feel free to ask. If you found this helpful don’t forget to click the *accept* button!
