My daughter has a knot on the back of her head the size of a grape and is having headaches because of it. What could this be? She says she did not bump her head.Optional Information: Female , Age: 29Already Tried: Nothing

This is most likely a cyst or a tumor. The only way to know for sure is to have your doctor examine her and do the necessary testing, i.e. biopsy if necessary, to find out what it is. The doctor may also want to do a head scan or MRI as well.

Since she's having headaches I would not delay in getting her seen as soon as possible. If you want her seen by a specialist ask your physician for a referral.
