I am a 30y/o female. I have been havingsome discharge from my navel for a few years and thought it was normal. Now I have been spotting blood from my navel. I am not pregnant and have never had a child. What could this be?

You will need to see a doctor for this. Without seeing it, I can only give you my best guess. It sounds like it could be a yeast infection. Wash it well and dry it super well using a heat lamp or a hair dryer set on low. Apply clotrimazole 1% every night at bedtime for a week. You can get this anti-yeast ointment at your drugstore. This may help but you will probably need something stronger from the doctor. Don't be concerned about the blood - it is probably just really irritated from this ongoing infection.
