I am a 24 year old female. I have to children under the age of 5. My problems started about 3 years ago. I was finally diagnosed with graves disease after fighting with doctors for a year that I was not having nervous break downs. I was given Radioactive Iodine and told that syntriod would be the answer. Now 2 years latter I still have uncontrolled thyroid levels. I have take as much as 800mcgs of the medicine and it still will not work. My doctor is convinced that I do not take my medicine right. He made my husband sign a thing that he watches me take my medicine every morning. I am hoping to find someone like me or a doctor that has seen someone like me that the medicine just would not work for.I hope that someone can help me convince my doctor that his synthriod is not the miracle cure
