My Mother, age 90, seemingly in fair health was just found to have Malignant neoplasm on her leg, spine, and rib, all traced to breast cancer. Doctor said it was stage 4 and that she is too old and poorly to survive the treatment to cure it. She also suffers from hypertension, Syncopal episodes, Transient ischemia attacks, coronary artery disease and osteoporosid. (This was all found on her diagnosis report at the nursing care center where she is recoperating from where they operated on the cancer on her femur and placed a rod in her leg.) My question is, how much time are we looking at before the cancer takes her?
