if this is only one. it does sound as though it's an infected follicle/boil. Do apply a warm compress to the area several times a day, which will actually help draw the pus to open and drain it. Don't squeeze it, this can cause further infection. You can also take ibuprofen for pain too. The warm moist compress will also help with the discomfort too. You can even sit in the tub with water too. The heat helps for it to burst. If you can't get it to burst on it's own, you may need to see your doctor to have it lanced, but it sounds as though it will be ready in the next couple of days, so just keep doing the warm moist compress etc.

Hope this helps, If you need anything else please feel free to ask. If you found this helpful don’t forget to click the *accept* button!

It's possible, since you are getting them, chances are you are going to need an antibiotic to help. If it's in the same area, you may have to have your doctor lance this as well to get the core of the infection out, which will stop them from coming. Some woman are just more prone than others. Has nothing to do with STD or being clean etc.. But generally antibiotics will help.
