my father has a irritated eye that is red swollen and tears and is sensitive to light he is 67 years old. he was seen in the ER for high blood pressure and the er doc took a look at the eye and dx him with episcleritis. she started him on a steroid and advised him to follow up with an opthamologist with in the next 2 days. He did that and the opthamologist said that it was not what the er doctor said and it was infact a pollen allergy and he should stop the steroid and take eye drops. well when my father took the steroids for 2 days the eye cleared up since he has stopped he is in severe pain and and the eye drops are not helping at all, he has never had an allergy to pollen before and we have had rain days and pollen count should be better on those days and his eye has not felt any better on those days. Can we please get some advice. Thanks
