I am a 51 year old woman in good health. I exercise 3-4 times a week. For the last 7 months my fingertips on both hands are very sore and sensitive. I do office work and have not used any different chemical, cleaning solution or different food or medication. They are a little red and do not itch. They do not hurt unless hit a certain way. They are very tender and hurt to button clothes, turn a key, open a soda can, hit them with one of my nails, open a bottle, etc. Some mornings when I wake up my hands are a little stiff and sore, but that goes away by late morning. I have seen three doctors. I have had a little piece of my thumb biopsed and nothing turn up. I have had blood work and it was ruled out no lupus or any type of vasculitis. I have tried 3 different types of cream for exema and no change. I have been on penecillin for 6 weeks and no change. One doctor told me to just wait and hope it goes away. This is very painful and with using your hands for almost everything, it can become very frustrating. I hope you can offer me some resolutions or areas to pursue. Thank you. Loretta Brumbles
