Hi, I would recommend you go back to the doctor. I do not recommend you try getting rid of these on your own. There are prescription creams or pills that can be ordered for these types of warts. However you may need to get them burned off again. Genital warts themselves can be removed but the virus itself can not be cured, it goes on living in your system. So if you have had them removed before it is very possible they will come back. If you do not get these treated properly they can very easily spread. I recommend you seek physician care soon. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Hi, it is very possible they will keep coming back as this virus will always be in your system. If you do have sexual contact with someone these can spread very easily. It is like having a cold sore(herpes) on you lip and it is treated with zovirax, it may keep coming back every 3 months, because the virus will always be in your system. Don't be embarassed about this as we have a few cases of this daily, I would recommend you seek treatment and let him know that these are reoccuring.

OK, last question then I'll let you off the hook... So if it can reacure every 3 months is there any treatment besides the initial freezing to keep them in check? A cream or a pill or voodoo doll, anything?

I was just giving you an example of the 3 months, these can occur any time. Genital warts can not be treated with any home remedy or over the counter product. You will need to get a prescription if you want to treat them with either a pill or cream, but this DOES NOT keep them from coming back. A very common one we dispense is called aldara cream. If you have any other questions please let me know, you are not bothering me at all, please don't feel like you are I am more than willing to try and help. Thank you.
