Hi, Collagen - Vascular disease such as Scleroderma , Polymyalgia Rheumatica , Dermatomyositis , Polymyositis etc. also needs to be ruled out. For this a Rheumatologist would be the the kind of Doctor that you would be looking for. She also may need further evaluation by an Endocrinologist to look at the possibilities of any other hormonal problems such as Cushing's Syndrome , Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome etc.
