I have been diagnosed with as having prolactinomas (tumor of the pituatary gland). My doctor has put me on Dostinex which is working great. I presently take .25mg 1 a week. I have been on Dostinex for about 5 weeks. I am interested in taking a diet pill, specifially Metabothin. I have used diet pills before and have had success. I am fully aware of the dangers of herbal supplements especially when abusing them and taking over the recommended dosages.

My question is: Is there any adverse effect from taking Metabothin and Dostinex? Will the chemicals in both of these pills conflict in any way?

Hi, There is no drug interaction found between Metabothin and Dostinex according to drugs.com

Merabothin is not a FDA approved drug. I suggest to you to call your health care provider and get his or her approval before you start taking this drug.
