For the past ten months or so, my left leg hurts badly in the groin/glute/hamstring area. It is a vert deep but sharp pain, gets worse after intense exercise or sitting still for long periods. It does not hurt to touch at all (can't "reach" deep enough) but only if I turn my leg inward from the hip, or put pressure outward (Indian style). It has begun to spread to the left side of my pelvic area, all the way to the back of my knee. Feels like some crazy strain or sprain, but worse.
Comes and goes but worsens around my period (obviously I am female). I worry it might be cancer. Or an effect of my mild scoliosis. One of my legs is about half an inch longer than the other. But it really feels like it's directly affecting my bone. What do you think it might be? What should I do?

Reply to Steve -- a.k.a. Oreport's Post: I am 23. I had a traumatic injury to my spine, ribs and surrounding tissues when I was 17. It went untreated. Recently, I broke my left foot and had a limp for about a month after I started walking on it.
