My son whom is 13 years ol dbroke his collar bone a week ago Sunday. I took him to the closest ER, they took x-rays and confirmed it being broke. However, the doctor didn't do anything for him. He just told us to give him motrin for pain. Well, now he has a big bump on his collar. What should I do now? Is this normal? Should he be in a sling?
