Reply to Judy's Post: I did not ask if the doctor was ethical, all I wanted to know was could be done... I don't want a prescription. It was just a question. Is that not what I asked?

I am saying that no doctor SHOULD ever give a prescription on line unless he knows you or has the opportunity to evaluate you. I have not heard of this occurring and it would be unethical of ME to tell you that it was a good idea. I am wondering could you share the site with us of where this is possible?

None of us can know for sure what can be done online. I looked, found none, answered that it is not professional for one to do so as it is dangerous for the patient to receive a prescription without a proper evaluation. I feel it's unethical, should not be done, is dangerous, and would like to know for future reference whether it's really out there.
