should i insist on additional testing on a child that has been limping and complaining of pain in her thigh for twelve days now. the pediatrician told me to change her shoes to tennis shoes instead of sandals. i don't think her shoes are what is causing her to limp. in just came on suddenly.

Is she having any other symptoms?

Does her thigh appear normal? No bruising or redness?

Reply to James's Post: it appears normal and has had an x-ray which showed nothing. she sometimes says her foot is burning, and complains of other pains such as headache.
