Black nipple discharge is usually old blood and this needs to be investigated by your doctor. It is sometimes related to an intraductal papilloma (expect this to be benign) whereby a mammogram and sonogram should be done. On occasion, a breast biopsy is needed to differentiate between benign and malignant processes. Please see your doctor for an exam and testing.
