Is it possible for Paxil to cause tremors in the fingers?

Sent to Health Experts May 31 12:16 PM

Is it possible for Paxil to cause tremors in the fingers? My doctor has reduced the Paxil from 20 mg. to 10mg and now I've been taking 5 mg. for three days. I still am having tremors in the fingers.

Hi! I just did a check on Paxil, and the studies prove that 1.1% of all patients studied taking paxil developed hand tremors. You may want to wait a few more days to see if the tremors stop or lessen. I would then call your doctor and see if he thinks another drug would not have this side effects. There are three or four others that are as effective ad Paxil and yuor Doctor would know which one would be best. I hope this has helped you. If you have any other questions, please ask.
