I have an appointement to see a Dermatologist in about 5 weeks but I'm not sure I should wait that long. I have a patch of very dry and leathery skin on my thumb that is growing slowly and a reddish, itchy area above my thumbnail. The whole area foams up when peroxide is applied. Should I wait this long or see someone now?
