Not sure if you called a family doctor or a GYN. I understand you have no insurance, not sure if you can afford to see a GYN. Granted any bleeding over 10 days should be investigated. There can be several causes for this. Examples; stress, weight gain/loss, medication, illness, climate, cyst, or polyp of the cervix, hormonal imbalance, thyroid, infection.. just to name a few. Without a proper exam it would be hard to pin point the exact cause. You at least should start taking an iron pill as bleeding this long can cause one to start to become anemic. If you are unable to go that route in seeing a GYN, then one option would be to be seen at your local health dept. as they can do a pap etc., and help rule out some things as well. Plus they don't charge or may ask for a donation.

Hope this helps, If you need anything else please feel free to ask. If you found this helpful don’t forget to click the *accept* button!

It may be stress, nerves that is causing the sleeping issue. But also being possible anemic, especially if you are bleeding this long. They may do a pap, to rule out any infection of any kind. Blood work up to make sure you don't have a hormonal imbalance, ultra sound and may even give you something to help stop the bleeding for now too. And it may be that you will just bleed a few more days and then be done. But bleeding as much as you are by going through a tampon/pad is not good. But without an exam or seeing tests results would be hard to say why this is occurring so long since there are too many possibilities.

Hope this helps Hun.

If you are getting or have a yeast infection, this too can prolong bleeding as well. To go by missing one month and bleeding like this is not always something serious. Plus if you are sitting there stressing over this.. this too can keep your period flowing as well. So try to relax, call the health dept back tomorrow and let them know if they have any cancellation between now and the 20th to please call you, they are pretty good at that.

Other wise Hun, just by this it doesn't indicate anything serious, but there are factors of the yeast and/or you being stressed that can cause this to keep happening..

Hope this helps, if you need anything please ask.. if not do click the accept and leave feedback as well.
