My question is about Duragesic patches? How many patches should be worn at one time? These are being used by someone dying of cancer.

May I ask what strength of patches?

How often are the patches being changed?

Does a doctor prescribe the patches? How often do they get a review?

Does the patient have any other pain relief at all? What do they take for breakthrough pain?

patches are the 100. being changed every 72 hours. yes, the doctor prescribed them. other medications being taken are: tussionex, oxycotin, nexium and clariton also senocot.
