i have been on the pill since last july. i'm on yasmin. i have a 31/2 yr. old already. i have acciedently forgotten to take a pill before so i took 2 the next day, like you can. i have forgotten totally forgotten to take a pill before and started early. i wasn't having sex though @ the time either. not that i did it on purpose though. so i had sex last friday night more aorund 1:30am sat. he didn't pull out, i thought he didn't get off but he said he got off in me. trust i wasn't happy but i knew i could take the plan b pill. my period started early that month cuz i moved back home (states) ya konw when things happen that are a big change. i didnt miss any pills though. so to be sure i went and got the plan b pill. took it around midnight sun. took both pills, then started the rest of my pack from last month cuz i was only 1 week into it before i started early. so what do you think the odds are of my getting prego again?

Reply to Pauline's Post: i had my last period on thursday the 25th of may and it ended on roughly late sun night/mon morn. i was only a week into my pack of pills before my period came early. i had 2 weeks of the yellow ones left and a week of the white one (sugar pills). i hope that will help you.

I am a bit concerned that your period came that early as the hormones in Yasmin should have regulated the cycle a bit better than that. From what you have told me, I think it is unlikely that you are pregnant, however the plan B pill is not 100% and by taking it nearly 48 hours after intercourse its effctiveness is down to about 80%. Having said that, you should not have been ovulating due to the yasmin.

My thought is that you do need to see your doctor to dicuss how you get your cycle back on track. I think you should skip the sugar pills this time around, but get your doctors permission. This will mean you don't have a period at the end of this pack, but that should be okay. But talk to your doctor first, just in case they want to run a blood test for hormone levels first.

Regards
