REPLIED Check Mark

Hello

The first thing I would check is to see if you are getting enough calcium and magnesium in your diet. If you don't eat a lot of dairy products, you might consider a dietary supplement of both. This almost always does the trick for people of your age group.

I take a calcium supp. every day. I will try to take a mag. as well. Is it okay to take all this and a multivitamin?

Hi Tonya

I would have the doctor check your blood levels of calcium and magnesium before adding more than your multivitamin. Check to see how much Mag and Calcium are already in what you are taking.

This may not be the cause if your levels are fine.

You might also ask the doctor about what is called restless leg syndrome. Sometimes Quinidine tablets will help if that's the case.
