I took my father to the doctor on today, he mention the doctor that he had a sore on the left side of his tongue. When we look at his tongue there was a piece about the size of a dime that looks like had been riped or bitten off. The doctor was surprise at what he saw. The doctor is sending him to a Nose,throat and ear specialist to have him screen for cancer. Is this some kind of serious thing I should be worried about?
