Question

I'm concerned I am having side effects from

Sent to Health Experts June 23, 2006 8:59 a.m.

I'm concerned I am having side effects from Vanity breast enhancement pills (herbal blend), even though they report there are no known side effects. I have been taking it for 2 weeks (I stopped taking them 2 days ago). I have been having strong sharp shooting pains in my left temple, my scalp hurts to touch, my forehead between my eyes is red swollen and has bumps on it. Also my left temple has the same thing and as of this am my left eye lid and brow is swollen red and tender to touch. (brow has bumps)The "headeaches" aren't continuous, sometimes once every minute or once every 10 minutes but I have been having them for a week now. Should I be concerned and go see a doctor, or should I wait till the pill is out of my system and let this run it's course?Or do you think it has nothing to do with a reaction to the pills? Is it safe to take Excedrine Migraine, I took it yesterday and the headeach stopped for several hours. Thank you,
Michele

Hi,

Unfortunately some enhancement pills will list no known side effects when in fact they are extremely rare. Also sometimes there were no side effects until much latter, not all side effects are known right away. There is also the chance that you may be experiencing a allergic reaction to something in the enhancer.

Anytime you experience side effects it is best to see your doctor. I would recommend you calling your doctor today and asking him if you can get in today to be seen for the reaction.

I hope you are feeling better soon.

Walter

Thank you for your timely response. One more question, what if anything will/can the doctor do for me?

Hi,

He will take you vitals and give a examination to make sure everything is OK. At that point he may give you a shot and or a antibiotic to help alleviate your symptoms, depending on the severity of your reaction. He may also prescribe something for the headaches and the rashes/bumps.
