I have this rash ( not red but little white pimples) on my hands. It itches so I have been using hydrocordcine cream but it will not go away. Had it for three weeks now. What should I do short of seeing a doc?

Is there any redness at all?

Any pain or soreness in your hand?

no redness. it is just itchy until I apply the hydrocortisone. It seems to be only on the fingers and heal of the hand. No pain.

I would have to say that since it has been 3 weeks and you have been applying Hydrocortisone and it hasn't gone away, you should see a doctor. Using Hydrocortisone for too long can cause the skin to become very thin. The doctor will be able to prescribe a stronger derm cream if needed. If you are able to paste a picture or a link to a picture of this rash that would help me to confirm this also. If this answer is helpful please hit the accept button. Thank you.

Relist: I still need help.
James, would a general family doc be OK or should I go to a specialist ( Dermotolgist) I have no health coverage at this time as I am away from my HBO provider.
