Alot of things could cause this but I need to know some further questions. Are you on any meds? If yes, the name of them. Are you under any major stress right now, like the loss of a job, death in the family, family relation problems, etc.? Do you have any health problems or diseases?

If there is blood in your stool I would definitely have that checked out as to you could have a colon or intestinal disorder besides the hemorrhoids that can be causing the bleeding and that also explains weight gain if you do have a colon or intestine disorder they cause increased appetite and/or weight gain without the increased appetite. Anemia can sometimes cause weight gain but rarely. If you are iron anemic and tired and not doing alot that suggests weight gain also. Which all these contribute to your stomach getting larger. My suggestion to you is to get a colonoscopy done right away for any abnormalities. If you need help in finding a doctor I would be glad to help you in finding a good doctor but I need to know your city and state, and hospital preference. I would be more than happy to assist you with this and give you the name and #. If I can be of further assistance or you have further questions please don't hesitate to ask. Best regards and good luck, Dr. Bonnie Lenzenhuber MD

Yes it could be a digestive disorder which is also an intestinal disorder as I mentioned before. The blood tests are usually pretty acurate and is highly unlikely do to a thyroid disorder because that usually causes weight loss. Okay you need to go to a gastroenterologist who will be able to do this procedure for you. Here is the physician that I highly recommend and have sent patients from the ER to him. He is very good and you will like him. His name is Jeremiah Donovan, MD and he specializes in gastroenterology and is board certified. His address is actually in your town. It is

1421 Malabar Road, NE Suite 200
Palm Bay, FL

There office phone # is
(321) 434-8210

I highly recommend you making the appointment and getting further care. Again if I can be of any further assistance or you should have further questions please do not hesitate to ask. Good luck, Dr. Bonnie Lenzenhuber MD
