my wife is a 28 year old female living in the philippines. is presently overweight , has misses several menstations and has a highly elevated white cell count. is leukemia necessarily the most common prognosis

Hello,

It is most likely that your wife has an infection.


Leukemia would not be the diagnosis as an extremely low number of normal leukocytes (white cell count) is found.

She should make an appointment with her doctor to determine the cause of her missed menses and ascertain why her WBC is elevated.
