My husband is taking Omnicef for a rash on his skin.

My husband is taking Omnicef for a rash on his skin. He has taken the medicine for four days and he is supposed to take it for seven. Today he woke up with severe dizziness, nausea, and diarrhea. Could the medicine be causing this and what should he do? He can barely walk because he feels like he is going to fall.
