Perphaps, but the more common disorder associated with this is OCD. Obsessive compulsive disoder. Usually its cause by nervousness and anxiety. Do you feel like you do these activities more during a time of stress? It could help to see the doctor to rule out any other condition and get treatment for these "ticks". If it is OCD, or just a nervous issue, an SSRI, like Paxil, have helped people. The most important thing is to keep you comfortable and not self-concious about this. The more you worry about it the worse it will probably get. Hope this helps you!
