My left breast has pain running through it and it burns and ...

My left breast has pain running through it and it burns and aches,there is no discharge
but it looks different from my left one which sometimes it hurts but not as much.My mother had breast cancer at the age of 47 and I am 45 could this be something I need to check into.

Hello,

Yes, I would check with your GYN so he or she can order a mammo and ultrasound.

You have mentioned that your breast is "different" Can you elaborate a bit? This may help me to better answer your questions.

When I put my hands on my hips it looks like the
nipple part goes in

Do you mean as in the nipple appears inverted, if so,
I would not hesitate to have your doctor evaluate this.

With your family history, it is of course especially important for you to perform self exam and have a yearly mammo.
