my brother-in-law, just ruptured/?? a hemroide, is there anything other than "rest, no lifting" he should do? Also, is there any chance of internal bleeding. . .

Yes, there is a chance and if bleeding or severe bleeding is occurring it may be wise to take him to the ER for this to be better checked. If your not sure or not if it was a hemorrhoid and bleeding is going on then do by all means get him to a Doctor or ER.
