I am on Effexor XR and I have experienced swollen and tender glands on my neck. I have never read that Effexor could cause this and even my doctor says it doesn't seem like Effexor could be the cause. I have experienced this only since I have been on Effexor for the past 3 months. Is it possible that it can be causing this problem and is it known that other Effexor users have experienced this?

I am now going off of Effexor because I fear that it is causing this and am now going to try Paxil CR.
