HIV question
Sent to Health Experts July 08 04:17 PM

A friend of mine has Ulcerative Colitis. A doctor "implied" that since his iron level is low that he needed to be tested for HIV because that is a sign of HIV in men. Clearly, he is very upset and worried for what I think is no reason. Would it be a more logical theorgy to suggest that he may be somewhat anemic before assuming that HIV is a probability?
