Sent to Health Experts July 10, 2006 12:50 p.m.

My hands have recurring stages of blisters w/clear liquid, the blisters then dry up, then the blister areas split and bleed. I've been seen by a dermotologist who said that 1) it was a virus (but did not say what) - I was prescribed prednesone and protopic ointment; and 2) that it was brought on by stress - not likely. If stress was the cause, then I would have had this most of my life - I'm 57 and this started about three years ago. Any suggestions as to what type of doctor I could consult? Please advise.
